Say hello to the 2001 Volvo S40 Turbo. Honey’s got a 1.8L DOHC 4 cylinder with a low pressure turbo stock, 5 speed automatic, and brand new rubber. Torque peak is a gutsy little 170 foot pounds or so at 1800rpm, horsepower tops out in the mid 160s. 80k on it when we bought it, 80k more on factory warranty. California ULEV, of course, and I will be dropping a K&N on it soon enough to boost that efficiency a little higher too.
And oh by the way, get used to seeing the back of it.
