Hi Johnath XD I've been reading your blog for a while and I just haven't been good enough to comment before.

I went on a Royal Caribbean cruise several years ago, a four-day trip out of Miami, and from what I remember the only place we stopped was Nassau, though that was partly because of a bad storm.

Your impressions of the cruise are exactly the same as the one I had. Our waiter was also exceptional, and you are left with the impression that you are as important to them as they become to you. Our ship had a casino on it *chuckles* And several bars and restaurants. Even though we ended up being stuck on the ship longer than was intended because of the storm, unable to make one of the stops, it really didn't feel cooped up or cramped, and we had one of the regular rooms, not one of the most expensive.

Overall, I'd do a cruise again in a heartbeat, and I've raved about my experience for years. But then, I'm the kind of traveller who doesn't really mind if I end up spending whole days just sitting at the hotel, or on some sandy beach, reading and soaking up the ambiance. I'm not a big adventurer who likes to fill each day with lots of activities.
